On the Weekend of September 25th I participated in a 43 hour Game Jam run by the Academy of Interactive Entertainment.
The theme for the Game Jam was Bastion,
For 43 hours our 4 person team was known as Queen. I was one of two artists on my team.
I was responsible for:
- Menu's and UI layout within Unity
- Environmental layout of the Main Menu
- Modelling and texturing of all of the Environmental assets
The incredible idea of using one Gradient Texture Map was brought forward by the very talented Samantha Handley (https://www.artstation.com/neonstryker). It saved us eons of time and made all of our assets cohesive and perfectly stylised.
